Job Description

Northab is seeking a talented and experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our client, Volvo Cars, within their Common Base Technologies division. This role is central to their software development efforts, specifically within the Start team responsible for the Movement Enabler project. We are looking for a developer who is not only proficient in C++ but also has additional skills in MATLAB Simulink.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement definition to validation and verification.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of System Designers, Software Developers, and Test Engineers.
  • Design and implement efficient memory management, buffering, parallel processing, inter-process communication, and time series data processing.
  • Utilize GIT, Gerrit, and JIRA for version control and project management.
  • Contribute to software verification across multiple test environments.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with C++ on Linux/QNX.
  • At least 1 year of experience in MATLAB Simulink model-based software development.
  • Proven experience in software design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with SAFe/Agile methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of CAPL and Python scripting.
  • Experience with CANoe and CANalyzer.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive or Telecom sectors.
  • Swedish driving license B or equivalent.
